AESTHETIC DIMENSION OF THE LIFE OF MODERN BELARUSIAN GIRLS: A SOCIOLOGICAL ANALYSIS

Abstract
The article presents the results of a sociological study aimed at studying young girlsʼ ideas about human beauty. It is noted that beauty is perceived by them as the integration and harmonization of the internal and external attractiveness. It has been established that among the components of beauty, the first positions are occupied by the high spiritual qualities of an individual, and not his physical merits. It was revealed that erotic attraction and the role sexual factor are important, but peripheral. It has been proven that young Belarusian women are optimistic about the possibility of maintaining beauty over a long period of time, even throughout their entire lives. It is emphasized that the main factors contributing to beauty are heredity, an innate sense of harmony, the ability to develop oneʼs spiritual abilities, achieving inner harmony, and a healthy lifestyle. It is indicated that the respondents have a contradictory attitude towards human beauty. In their view, it has an unconditional positive connotation, but is only partially connected with the happy life of the individual. Moreover, beauty is directly linked to responsibility and the ability to resist the temptations inherent in it.
