ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN HIGHER EDUCATION: DUAL CONSEQUENCES

Abstract
Artificial intelligence is widely used in science and higher education, as well as in other fields. AI is highly valued by students, while educators highlight its risks. The challenge is to determine the extent to which AIʼs duality will impact humans: will AI remain an auxiliary tool in education, controlled by teachers, or will it become a means of human enslavement – subordinating teachers to generic algorithms, regardless of the subjects taught, and turning young people into manipulated users of technology, unable to distinguish fact from fiction. Clear boundaries are needed for the acceptable use of AI.
