MODERN LEISURE PRACTICES IN BELARUS
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article presents the results of a sociological study analyzing the leisure practices and preferences of the population of Belarus. Based on the data obtained, the factors influencing the respondents’ choice of leisure activities were identified, with the most significant being age and the presence of minor children in the household. The study found that female respondents, as well as those with a higher level of education, demonstrate a wider range of leisure practices. Traditional forms of leisure, such as socializing with family and friends, as well as spending time outdoors and walking in parks, remain popular across all demographic groups. The research results lead to the conclusion that traditional forms of leisure remain resilient, while new formats – particularly digital services for distributing entertainment content – are being integrated into existing practices.
