Abstract

The potential of integrating the adapted practice of Sanda into the educational and training process of young Wushu practitioners is being investigated. An experimental substantiation of the methodology of teaching the technique of Sanda, aimed at improving the technical readiness of children engaged in wushu, is presented. The developed method is based on the principles of accessibility, consistency, and a health-promoting focus. It consists of four sequential stages, each with specific objectives, training tools and methods, and defined volumes of physical load. Testing of the method showed that step-by-step training – from mastering basic stances and striking techniques to performing complex taolu routines – resulted in a statistically significant increase in the technical preparedness of children aged 10–12. This resulted in the transition of students from minimal and stable levels to good and personal levels, which confirmed the high efficiency of the proposed educational and training process.
