Conceptual Framework of V. Bykau’s and Ya. Sipakou’s Parables: Semiotic Approaches

Abstract
The article supports semiotic approaches to literary studies, namely, those aimed at parable and allegory interpretation. The author analyses the semantics, contextual importance, idea-rendering and depictive functions of numerous conceptual images in V. Bykau’s and Ya. Sipakou’s parables, defining the philosophical and axiological meaning and peculiarities of conceptual imagery in the works of the above authors and in Belarusian literature of the late 20th – early 21st century as a whole.
