The Motif of the House in the Poems of the Collection «Live Grain» by V. Palikanina

Abstract
In the lyrics of V. Palikanina, a famous modern Russian-language author of Belarus, the motif of the house is a significant and frequent motif, which clearly demonstrates the literary and cultural microcosm and macrocosm. The motif of the house acts as the realization of national cultural ideas, a means of representing the memories and life experience of the lyrical hero, a tool for expressing the author’s worldview, an indicator of the mental state of the actor of the works of this author. It is noted that the development of the motif of the house in the works by V. Palikanina is close to biblical legends, where a person’s earthly life is considered as a temporary home, preparation for gaining a heavenly refuge. In addition, V. Palikanina turns to the identification of the childhood home as a lost paradise, filled with the care of loved ones and the joy of family warmth.
