Abstract

The second part of the article examines the results of the conducted diagnostics of the natural, demographic, and economic characteristics of the Brest region, which identified the strengths and weaknesses of the region, threats, and key problems of its development. It is shown that the basis for sustainable development of the Brest region is the environmental situation, favorable for the life of its residents, and the regionʼs economy is an effective tool for preserving the environment and human life in harmony with nature.
